December 2024

In December 2024, we made a 2-week trip to visit friends in Indonesia, as well as serve the local people in any kind of capacity. We visited Yayasan Geresa on Saturday 28th December (the place where we sponsor 6 children) to bless the children and check on their progress. Unfortunately, the children were not present, as they were away however we did give each one of them presents and a donation for their school fees.

It was so beautiful to be able to serve in addition, the 78 women once more who had mental disorders. We had a team who came from different churches willing to sacrifice their time and energy to serve the women. We had a special program, where we sang Christmas songs, shared different testimonies of how God has changed our lives and had time of prayer, where we could pray for the women. 

Since, our last visit it was so heart-touching to hear that many of the women have been getting so much better. Some ready to even go home and waiting for their family members to come and pick them up. It is only the Lord that can heal their minds and hearts, so that they can be reunited with their loved ones and it is so great that we can play a small part in their story.

We are planning to do a bigger campaign for around end of March 2025, where we will be visiting an orphanage in Nias island (an island a day's trip from Jakarta). Stay tuned and we can't wait to release more information very soon!
