Indonesian Orpahanages

Indonesia has approximately 7000 orphanages, hosting 500,000 children. However, the number of orphanas amounts to 4.4 million according to UNICEF. Children end up being orphans for various reasons, including: the death of a parent, child abuse, poverty and many others. We at Abond want to make a difference by sponsoring an Indonesian orphanage in Jakarta and ensuring these children have access to education, food and future career opportunities. Above all, we want to ensure that the children feel loved and not be affected by financial burdens.

Past Initiatives

Indonesia Trip 11th -21st November
We will be travelling to Indonesia from the 11th November to 21st November visiting different orphanages in the Jakarta region. The goal will be to bless the children by providing food and meeting thier needs. In addition, we will have different activities to connect to the children as well as a time of sharing about our Christian faith and values. At the end, we want to sponsor one specific orphanage on a monthly basis and invest in the lives and future development of these children.

Upcoming Initiatives

Indonesia Trip April/May 2025

In 2025, we have a vision for the Abond brand to sponsor 5 Indonesian orphanages. To do that we will be personally visiting those places and helping the children practically and encouraging them with the hope of the Gospel.

Around April/May 2025, we will be going to Nias island to serve an orphanage in a very remote place. We will be conducting a campaign called 'The Helper' campaign to raise funds to buy clothes for the children.

You can support us by buying from our collections! 20% of the revenue of each item will go into the sponsorship of the orphanage at Nias Island.
